This Privacy Policy covers the website at jaxbeachhandyman.com. Our mobile app, JBH Home, has a separate policy, because it collects different information.

1. The short version

  • We collect what you type into our quote form, and what your browser reports as you browse.
  • We use advertising and session-recording tools — a Meta (Facebook) pixel, Google Analytics with advertising features on, and Microsoft Clarity, which records how you move through the site. Section 4 names all of them.
  • We don’t sell your information for money.
  • Section 7 tells you how to turn the tracking off.

2. What we collect

When you request a quote or contact us. Our quote form is provided by LeadConnector (GoHighLevel). It asks for:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number (required)
  • Your email address (required)
  • The street address of the property (required)
  • A description of the project (required)
  • Your ideal budget (optional)
  • How you heard about us — Google, saw our van, referral, or other (optional)
  • Your consent to be contacted, which you give by checking the box on the form

When you call, text, or email us. We receive your phone number or email address and whatever you tell us, and we keep a record so we can follow up and schedule work.

Automatically, as you browse. Analytics, advertising and session-recording tools collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how you arrived, how long you stay, and how you move around a page — including mouse movement, scrolling and clicks. Section 4 names each tool and what it does.

We take no payments on this website, so we never receive card or bank details here. We don’t run a newsletter or a live chat, and we don’t ask you to create an account.

3. What we do with it

  • Respond to quote requests and answer questions
  • Schedule, perform and follow up on work
  • Keep records of jobs, estimates and invoices
  • Understand how the site is used, and where it confuses people, so we can improve it
  • Measure which ads and search results bring people to us
  • Show our ads to people who have visited the site, and to people who resemble them
  • Send you service messages about work you’ve requested
  • Detect and block spam and abusive form submissions
  • Meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

4. Cookies, tracking, and who receives your information

Everything below is running on this website today.

Who What it does What it receives Cookies
Google Analytics 4 (G-2BBE7PFXRG), loaded through Google Tag Manager (GTM-N4B76VMW) Measures visits and behavior. Google advertising features are enabled, so this data also reaches Google’s advertising systems. IP address, device and browser, pages viewed, referral source, interactions _ga, _ga_2BBE7PFXRG
Meta (Facebook) Pixel (838023508781480) Advertising. Tells Meta you visited, so we can show you our ads on Facebook and Instagram and measure whether ads work. IP address, browser, pages viewed, actions taken, and any Meta account your browser is signed into _fbp
Microsoft Clarity (y0v9asa1jj) Session recording and heatmaps. Records how you move through a page — mouse movement, scrolling, clicks, and how long you spend — and replays it for us. IP address, device and browser, pages viewed, and a recording of your interactions with the page _clck, _clsk
GoHighLevel / LeadConnector Hosts our quote form and stores our customer records Everything you submit through the form Set by leadconnectorhq.com
Cloudflare (Turnstile) Checks that form submissions come from a person, not a bot IP address and browser signals at the moment you submit Set by Cloudflare
WP Engine Hosts the website Server logs, including IP addresses —
Automattic (Akismet, Gravatar) Spam filtering and profile images Submission metadata; your IP for image requests —

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

Reviews shown on this site come from our public Google Business Profile. Anything you post publicly in a Google review is controlled by Google, not by us.

5. Do we “sell” or “share” your information?

We do not sell your personal information for money.

But we want to be straight with you about something several privacy laws treat as a kind of sharing: the Meta pixel and Google’s advertising features send information about your visit to Meta and Google, and those companies use it to target advertising. Under laws like California’s, that counts as “sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising” — sometimes even as a “sale,” even though no money changes hands.

Section 7 tells you how to stop it.

6. How long we keep it

Quote requests and customer records are kept as long as needed to do the work, and afterward for our tax, accounting and warranty records — generally seven years, to match how long we keep tax records.

Analytics, advertising and session-recording data is kept according to each provider’s retention settings for our account — typically 14 months for Google Analytics, and 30 days for Microsoft Clarity recordings.

7. How to turn the tracking off

You have real options here, and none of them stop you from getting a quote:

  • Block cookies in your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, or browse privately. The site works either way.
  • Send a Global Privacy Control signal. Browsers and extensions that support GPC (including Firefox, Brave, and the DuckDuckGo and Privacy Badger extensions) send an automatic opt-out signal. We honor it.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
  • Adjust your Meta ad settings at facebook.com/adpreferences
  • Read Microsoft’s privacy statement and opt-out options for Clarity at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement
  • Email us at mark@jaxbeachhandyman.com and ask us to opt you out. We’ll do it.

Do Not Track. Browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. There is no agreed standard for honoring it, so we do not respond to DNT — but we do honor Global Privacy Control, above.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, to opt out of targeted advertising, and not to be treated differently for asking.

To make a request, email mark@jaxbeachhandyman.com or call (904) 478-8901. We verify your identity before acting — usually through the phone number or email you originally contacted us with. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may file a complaint with the Florida Attorney General.

We honor these requests from anyone who asks, whether or not a law in your state requires it of a business our size.

9. Children

This site is meant for adults hiring home services. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use HTTPS across the site, and our forms and customer records are held in GoHighLevel’s platform under their security controls. No website can be guaranteed completely secure, and information you send us over the internet travels at your own risk.

11. Changes

We will update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows the last revision.
